Bio

Elisa Paola Ambrosio was born in Turin, Italy, in 1976.
She received the Laurea degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2000 and Ph.D. degree in Material Science and Technology at the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2008.
In Januray 2005, she joined the Material Science and Chemistry Engineer, Politecnico di Torino.
Since March 2010 she joined IIT as a post-Doc Junior Researcher in the Center for Space Human Robotics.

The research activity carried over the years has been dealing with:

Electrical and structural characterization of semiconductor, in particular with Scanning Electron Microscopy
Synthesis and characterization (structural and electrochemical) of catalyst supports for PEMFC
Preparation and characterization of MMC
Characterization of SiC foams and carbon derived polymeric resins, in particular with thermal analysis
