Bio
Fai Chen Chen was born in Cali, Colombia, in 1986.
In 2007 was selected to participate in a bilateral agreement between the University Javeriana Cali (Colombia) and Politecnico di Torino (Italy).
In 2009 he received his Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and later got his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering.
Currently, he has a PhD student position at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) Node at Polito, working on the smart EVA glove project. The objective is the development of a prototype of a lightweight hand exoskeleton designed to be embedded in the gloved hand of an astronaut and to overcome the stiffness of the pressurized space suit.
