This lab is dedicated to the characterization of devices as lithium ion batteries, microbial fuel cells, cells for photoelectrochemical water splitting and the electrochemical characterization of materials. The Lab has been designed to offer all the necessary equipments for complete characterization synergistically working with the labs of the Applied Science and Technology Department of the Politecnico di Torino. Among the instruments of the ELCHEMLAB, the ARBIN BT2000 - Battery Test can perform charge/discharge cycling of multiple cells or batteries simultaneously to obtain charge and discharge capacity, energy, DC internal resistance, and other valuable information. Each channel is a true potentiostat and galvanostat which provides both voltage and current control for all charging and discharging requirements. This also enables each test channel to operate independently of the others, enabling users to run different tests on multiple channels simultaneously. |
