Characterization of photovoltaic devices The labs have been designed to perform a complete characterization of photovoltaic properties of solar harvesters as Dye Sensitized Solar Cells. The lab is equipped with a Class A Sun Simulator (91195A, Newport) and an Incident Photon-to-electron Conversion Efficiency (IPCE) evaluation system, with a 100 W QTH lamp (Newport) as light source and a 150 mm Czerny Turner monochromator (Omni-λ 150, Lot-Oriel). Moreover, the equipment for the evaluation of electrical transport properties in semiconductor films and devices in different conditions (DC and AC mode in the rangle 0.001 Hz – 13 MHz, 2/4 wires, linear and Van Der Pauw configurations, carrier concentration and mobility estimation, Hall effect, temperature dependence in the range 77-500 K) are available |
